About UPF Protection
What is UPF 50+?
UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It's the rating system for clothing, just like SPF is for sunscreen. UPF 50+ means the fabric blocks at least 98% of UV radiation — both UVA and UVB rays — from reaching your skin.
Is UPF the same as SPF?
No. SPF (Sun Protection Factor) applies to sunscreens and only measures UVB protection. UPF measures the total UV protection of fabric, including both UVA and UVB rays. UPF clothing is more reliable because it doesn't wear off with sweat or water.
Will I feel hot wearing a UV jacket in Indian summer?
Our fabrics are specifically selected for India's heat. We use lightweight, breathable, cooling-technology fabrics that actually keep you cooler than bare skin in direct sunlight — because the fabric reflects UV rays and reduces heat absorption on your skin. Many of our customers say they feel noticeably cooler after switching.
How is this different from a regular full-sleeve shirt?
A regular cotton shirt typically has a UPF of only 5–15, which means it still allows most UV through. VEYIL fabrics are UPF 50+ certified, engineered with a tighter weave and UV-blocking technology that regular fabric cannot match.

Who is the UV Jacket for?
It's ideal for bikers, students, delivery partners, outdoor workers, hikers, and anyone who spends extended time outdoors. It's unisex and works for both men and women.
Who is the Visor Cap + Face Mask for?
The visor cap and face mask come as a single 2-in-1 product. It protects both your face and head at the same time — popular with women commuters, scooter riders, and anyone who needs full facial coverage from the sun. The visor keeps the sun out of your eyes while the mask shields your face and neck.
Can I machine wash these products?
Yes. Machine wash cold or hand wash in cool water. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach, as they can degrade the UV-protective coating over time. Tumble dry on low or air dry. The UPF protection is durable and lasts the life of the garment with proper care.
Sizing
How do I pick the right size?
Refer to our Size Guide page for detailed measurements. For the jacket, measure your chest circumference. For arm sleeves, measure the circumference of your forearm. If you're between sizes, size up for comfort.
What if the size doesn't fit?
We accept exchanges for size-related issues if the product is unworn and in original condition. See our Return & Refund Policy for details. Contact us on WhatsApp or email and we'll sort it out.
Orders & Delivery
When will my order ship?
In-stock orders ship within 1–2 business days. Pre-orders ship within 2 weeks. You'll receive a tracking link via email once dispatched.
Do you deliver across India?
Yes — we deliver pan-India through a trusted courier partner.
Is Cash on Delivery (COD) available?
No. We do not offer Cash on Delivery.
What is a pre-order?
When a product is sold out, we accept pre-orders to reserve your item from the next production batch. Pre-orders ship within 2 weeks. Your payment is collected at checkout, and you'll be updated by email once the order ships.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets via Razorpay/Shopify Payments.
